What I ate on June 30th

Breakfast: small bread with peanut butter, raisins, hempseed and cinnamon + 1/2 cup coffee

Snack: açaí smoothie with orange and seeds

Lunch: brow rice, mushrooms on cashew sauce and potato + water and lime

Dinner: vegan hot dog with tofurkey + water and lime


What I ate on June 29

Breakfast: oatmeal with blueberries, coconut, chia seeds, flax seeds, hemp seeds and walnuts + 1/2 cup of coffee

Snack: 4 dried apricots

Lunch: garbanzo bean salad with veggies and blue corn tortillas

Snack: rice cake with peanut butter, raisins and cinnamon

Dinner: brow rice, oven baked cauliflower with spicy sesame sauce and veggies salad + water and lime


What I ate on June 28

Breakfast: small bread with tofu scramble + 1/2 cup of coffee

Snack: 1 orange + peanuts

Lunch: cooked black beans with quinoa and flaxseeds

Snack: açaí juice with chia seeds and strawberries

Dinner: whole wheat pita bread with hummus and olives + water and lime


What I ate on June 27th

Breakfast: 1/2 cup of green juice (spinach, orange juice, lime, ginger, turmeric) + oats on coconut milk, chia, hempseed, almonds, coconut chips, cinnamon + 1/2 cup coffee

Snack: 1/2 cup peanutsLunch: black beans, quinoa and flaxseed + cup of water and lime

Snack: 6 dried apricots

Dinner: potato purée, grilled veggies (onion, garlic, bell-pepper, mushrooms, peas, tomatoes, tofu sausage and broccoli) + cup of water and lime


What I ate on June 26th

Breakfast: 1/2 cup green juice (orange juice, spinach, cucumber, ginger, turmeric and lime) + 1 small bread with tofu scramble

Snack: Oats with coconut milk, chia seeds, banana, flaxseed, maple, coconut chips and cinnamon

(Late) Lunch: 2 tofu and pesto tapiocas (crunch cassava flower)

Snack: 1 banana

Dinner: Salad with spinach, arugula, tomatoes, beetroot, olives, quinoa, sunflower seeds and pepper.


What I ate on June 25th

Breakfast: oatmeal with peanut butter, maple syrup, flaxseed, chia seeds, banana, almonds and cinnamon.

1/2 cup of coffee

Snack: 1/2 cup peanuts

Lunch: cooked black beans, oven baked cassava, farofa with plantain and flaxseed, red cabbage, tomatoes, arugula, olive oil and lime.

Sparkling water with lime

Snack: 1 banana

Dinner: TJ cauliflower gnocchi with pistachio, pine nuts, garlic, spinach and lime pesto.

Snack: mangos


Yellow Green Farmers Market

Finais de semana em Miami, sempre que temos um tempinho, dirigimos algumas boas milhas com destino ao Yellow Green Farmers Market, que fica na cidade de Hollywood.

Parece loucura dirigir até outra cidade para comprar verduras e frutas, e eu realmente gostaria que a realidade não fosse assim. Mas é! Em Miami Beach e Miami nunca conseguimos encontrar nenhuma feira tão grande e boa com essa em Hollywood (se você conhecer alguma, por favor me conte).

Motivos para ir até lá?

Primeiramente economia, principalmente considerando que tentamos comprar tudo orgânico.

Frutas maduras! Sim! Frutas com sabor real, pois a maior parte das frutas que vende nos mercados tem gosto de nada! Ou são muito verdes e nunca ficarão maduras corretamente.

O saco gigante de espinafre orgânico por $6,99!
